Coach Metzger has made a huge impact on the youth of this county. Looking at the total man, his contributions far outweigh this recent paperwork issue. In the past 8 years, his coaching has positively impacted hundreds of students, even beyond the high school, including over 85 student athletes matriculation to college. He is a community leader that needs to remain in his position at Pinecrest to continue to raise up this community.

Keep Coach Metzger. He has been an asset to the school and community from day one. He is more than a football coach. He is a life coach and a mentor to these guys.

Awesome guy who has done a lot for our kids and this community! It would be a big mistake to let him go.

Coach Metzger is a stand up gentlemen. I cannot sign his praises enough. I have very young sons, but had the opportunity to meet Coach Metzger when he held a camp for youth on athletics and fitness. My children, ages 5 and 8, love this man. I would be disappointed if Moore county schools lets this man go. He is a true gift to our community.

Coach is a great Godly man. He is not only training boys to be great players but inspiring them to be Godly men. Our schools need more like him. It would be such a lose for the us all if he was not allowed to continue to inspire the young people of our community.

Last year when scotland qb jaylend Ratliff suffered a head injury my wife and I organized the "2 strong" campaign. Coach Metzger was the first coach in the conference to call for other schools to donate money to help jaylends cause. He's a good man first and the kind of positive influence that young people need in the lives. #keepcoachmetzger

Great coach! I met his during summer camps at Appalachian State University and he was one of the most enthusiastic coaches there as well as one of the best teachers. He was extremely fair and coached an amazing team in Pinecrest! I play for Carrboro high school and feel grateful to have him help better my game those summers. I fully support coach Metzger!

Hello I graduated from PHS in 97 and this program has excelled since he has been the coach. These young men showed heart each year and this coach taught those boys how to believe again. What he brings to PHS football team is what we needed to see as a school and community.

Coach Metzger is an amazing coach, he touched my life throughout my entire high school experience! I didn't play football but I did habe countless interactions with him on a daily basis. Firing this particular coach would prove the idiocy that many others and myself have thought of the rest of the Pinecrest faculty. I support this and him %10,000 without a doubt.

Metzger is a light at Pinecrest for the students he coaches and encounters daily. It would be detrimental to the current patriots to lose such leadership.

My son, Alex, went to football camp last summer and Coach Metzger was wonderful. Alex learned so much from the coach. I support him 110 percent!
