Rev. Hollins has been a blessing to me and my family through sickness and death. He is a passionate and caring pastor to us all no matter what we are going through. He has built Ousley to the point we are now. He will put his schedule on hold. If anyone needs a listening ear. I plead with you to please reconsider your decision to move him. He has brought us to this point. We love his leadership

This man of God has come into OUMC and made a difference in the lives of the people and community. To move him now woul do both a disservice. Through his efforts the church consistently meets its apportionment and carries out the Lord's ministries, which are vital to the health of this community.

Pastor Hollins is a wonderful man of God. He delivers God's word with clear understanding which allows for practical application in daily life. I am raising two young males and along with their father their church family is an important important part of their development. We take comfort in having Pastor Hollins as a clear and present role model for our children. He is a member of our family.

4/3/17 Dear North Ga District Superintendent, If there was ever a worse time to reassign Pastor M. Hollins to another church, that time would be now. Ousley UNM has embarked upon the development of it's 3 year plan which includes a major focus on church growth through community engagement and outreach. This church growth initiative called "Show Someone the Way" is being led by Pastor Hollins and the current leadership of Ousley. Without the visionary, this initiative and the growth of Ousley will fail. I have been serving as the choir director of Ousley since March 2016. I also was the speaker and guest trainer for Ousley's 2016 Leadership Conference. My historical review of Ousley UMC has confirmed that Pastor Hollins has stablized Ousley UNM after a tumultuous past. Many pastors have come to and through Ousley, and that constant turnover almost destroyed the very foudation of the church. Racist motivated divison speatheaded by previous church leaders and members of Ousley caused members to scatter and build a lack trust in each other. This almost destroyed Ousley. Pastor Hollins, through the power of God, has been able to lead the healing and revival process of Ousley. Now the church is posititioned for the first time, in over a decade, to experience significant growth in every way; in membership, in outreach, in finances, and discipleship. It is because of Pastor Hollins' leadership that this has occurred. If you move him now, all of this progress will be lost. The members will not tolerate nor receive another leader at this time. The membership and community will suffer if Pastor Hollins is moved. Leave him in place. He should not be moved. The life of Ousley will be at stake if you move him, because the members will leave, and they will not support another leader at this time. I will not stay or support another leadership change at this time. Allow Ousley to implement the pastoral transistion plan they have presented to you in February 2016. This

Pastor Hollins is an outstanding cutting edge leader. His impact upon every church that he has served is a testimony that there is more in the man than in the land. In other words, you can send a bad man to a good church and he will bring it down. But you can also send a good man to a bad church and he will bring it up. Pastor Hollins is a good man. It is our sincere prayer that you would leave him at Ousley to finish the great work that has been started. Also, it would be a blessing to let him retire at Ousley and honor his labor. In the words of an old Negro Spiritual, " Let the work that he has done speak for him".
