these little guys have lost enough in their lives. taking their name and dignity away just isn't right!

Please let these boys keep their fathers name. They have lost their father and are so young that they may or may not remember a lot. His last name belongs to HIS sons.

These children deserve to keep their fathers name, to honor his life and continue the family's name. They are not old enough to understand this and should be given time with their paternal grandparents and families to not only keep the name alive but to grow up knowing their daddy more through them and why that name is so important.

To take their fathers name from them would be a great disservice to the boys. There is no reason to ever do that. They lost their dad, PLEASE dont do that to them!

I would understand if Brad was alive and didn't want anything to do with his boys but we all know for a fact that Brad loved his boys more than anything in the world and just cuz she doesn't want them to have his last name cuz of their fights is wrong. Just cuz he's gone doesn't mean she should go behind their backs and be able to change their names without asking the family first. Those boys mean a lot to the family and not just cuz of Brad either. Taking someones last name away from them is like taking food away from a dog; its not right no matter what the heck happened in the past.

I personally do not see any reason or benefit in going forward with the name change.Whatever issues that parents have or have had with one another should never be the base for a decision such as this. As a father myself I ill say that I strongly disagree with this decision. The boys have a very long road of healing due to the loss of their father. They certainly do not need any more confusion than they have already sustained. Please Let them hold on to their fathers name.
