Please consider the dogs, who are unable to speak for themselves. They really enjoy the freedom and the atmosphere of the beach.

It is important that dog owners pick up after their dogs as some owners don't at the moment !

Always happy to compromise. In the busy times, but keep it for the dog walkers we utilise this space everyday of the year, and we contribute to rates

We are always told to socialise our dogs, so why take away such a beautiful place for them to play, obviously you've never seen how fantastic it is to see so many dogs playing together, all breeds shapes and sizes, and not to mention the families playing and meeting new people. The peninsula is promoted as a healthy place to live so why take away a place where we can all exercise together.

There aren't many options for dog owners anymore, and yet you want to try and take another away!

Great beach for my kelpies, they love it, we go every day but people have to make sure they are responsible for the pooper scooping!

We have pretty much had every beach taken from us, it's the only one left we can walk out dogs for a decent stretch. Please don't take away the outdoors lifestyle we all enjoy with our dogs.

If anything, we should be getting more leash free beach space and time.
Dog walking is an active and social past time. It is good for physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.

This is the only beach on the southern peninsula that dog owners and dogs can enjoy a Long stretch

As a rate payer and a dog lover it would be nice to be able to continue to take my dog for a walk on a beach to cool him down in the middle of summer. We moved here specifically to enjoy the beach with our furry loved one. It's bad enough I can't walk him at the back beach across the road from our house. Taking this dog beach away to satisfy the campers would be a an insult to the community.

If campers are that unimpressed with sharing that beach with our four legged friends, I suggest they look at one of the numerous camping sites available along the pen
