Cameron's bight provides much needed daily water therapy for our elderly dog who now has arthritis and he has happily shared this beach with others for over a decade. Why is this an annual issue/problem? We pay our rates; pick up our poo; pick up cigarette butts and other rubbish (which are noticeably present during the holiday maker season). I want to know who is whinging and why!? Should we rename this area RACV cove?

Can't believe the coucil is trying to change this. I've been taking my dogs there for 7 years, and will continue to do so, legally or even illegally. Rediculous

I oppose any further restriction on the leash free arrangements at Cameron Bight. as a rate payer, who doesn't moan about the services i don't access during the off season when I am not using my house at Blairgowrie, any further restriction of leash free times will be an impingement of my ability to enjoy leisure time with my dogs.
the council has a value/objective of keeping people outdoors and active, and walking a dog is a great way to achieve that. it also breaks down the isolation that a lot of people in our community suffer from, as there is nothing like walking a dog to start a conversation!

I pay dog registration and get very little in return. This is one of the few places left to run our dogs on the southern end of the Peninsula.

This is where we live, we should not be restricted as to where we can walk our pets and enjoy our coastline.

You tell us to keep away from the plovers and want us to save rescue dogs in the name of animal protection. Well get rid of the feral cats who are the ones who actually kill the plovers... not our dogs on leashes... spend some brain power on what is reality not some whims of men who sit behind desks and never walk on a beach

Dog owner, dog lover & resident. The current laws offer all users fair use of this great stretch of beach. Very little beach area has been put aside for dogs on the Morn Pen - please leave it as it is.

The current restrictions are fair to all users- dog owners and others. It's a great stretch of beach that should be enjoyed by all.

Our dogs are our family.
Husbands are allowed to walk free without a leash and statistically they're WAY more dangerous.
