Austin is an amazing person. The fact that his GPA increased so much in such a small period of time is just a reflexion of how much he cares and wants to stay in Berea. He deserves another chance.

It's ridiculous to say Austin hasn't improved when his GPA has gone up over a point! He cannot go from a 0.5 to a 4.0 in one year. Let him show he's still progressing and prove he can do this!

I don't know all the details, but I do know that starting a petition to stay at Berea is about the most "Berea" thing a student can do. Sounds like he belongs at this great school.

Austin is a really intelligent kid. I don't know all of the details of the situation but I know that it means a lot to him to go to school and that he has it in him to rise to whatever challenge need be in order to do so.

I don't know Austin that well, but I do know that he worked hard and made a lot of progress towards an impossible goal. All colleges are tough, but Berea can often ask too much of a single student.

I've known Austin as a student in high school . He is intelligent , personable , dedicated and has a strong work ethic . He struggled academically at Berea his freshmen year during transition. He worked hard and improved this school year and I believe he will continue to do so . Berea is his home so please consider continuing his college education at Berea college .
