I was walking past the old town hall earlier and just felt so stubborn about this because how could we let them strip away everything that actually makes this place feel like home. People keep sending me messages about the market and it honestly makes me want to scream at the absurdity of it all but we have to keep pushing because the heritage here is not just some line on a map.

I really never thought this would gain this much steam but it just keeps growing and honestly my head is spinning in the best way possible. It is just so wild to see that so many of you care about keeping our town center where it belongs because the thought of losing our history is just too much to handle right now.

This plan is absolutely barmy. You cant just chop up a town and pretend it makes sense. Leave our heritage alone!
Ridiculous decision. Just another way to ruin our town. Keep it how it is.
TOTAL NONSENSE. The museum and the market IS Ashton. Cant believe they are even thinking about this.
Born and raised here. Its the heart of the community and the council should know better than to mess with it.
Dont let them destroy our history. Hands off our town.

Ashton needs its town hall and market. Its where we all go. Why on earth do they want to move it out of the constituency?
