As a young child I went to AES.The school grounds were magical they fed my imagination, my need to adventure & the hill is unbeatable! The historical building is one of a kind! I also believe the age gap from grade 1 to 9 is far too great if schools were to change in Armstrong.

I am appalled that aes is even being considered to close! It is a successful school at full capacity. The school board needs to really rethink the impact any decision would have on the community. They are not considering the long term outcome!

PLEASE KEEP OUR SCHOOL! This is at least the 5th generation of our family to attend AES and we built our home where we are to be close to the school we planned for all of our children to attend. My entire family would be heart broken if it does not remain a family tradition. The school yard itself is one of it's biggest features, being a wonderful area for the children to learn and grow in a healthy environment. We would consider going out of our district if this were the case. KEEP OUR SCHOOL!!!!

It would be such a shame to see this beautiful school close for future generations. The property alone is so wonderful and enjoyed by so many in our snowy winter months.

We bought our house in the brick school's catchment area knowing that my dad went there and walked the halls. We also can't forget to mention the great staff that keep the place running smoothly presently!

AES is such an amazing school and has been so welcoming to our children. I currently have 3 that attend there and 2 more on the way! AES is the heart of our beautiful town and a lot of residents here attended when they were younger. It would not only devastate my self and my children, but our entire community to loose such an historic piece of our small town!
