AES is the school that my husband attended, and it will be the school that my child attends in 2017. We will be able to walk him to school in the mornings, and take comfort in knowing that when he is older he won't have a long walk across town by himself. Children don't deserve to be packed like sardines into one building. Leave our schools open

This beautiful school is a huge part of Armstrong's history. Generations of this community have gone to school there and it would be such a loss to future generations to shut it down.

Education has already faced too many cut backs. These kids deserve to go to the school they know in their community; without wirry of being forced into another over crowded school.

It's understandable that budgets need to balance, cuts need to be made, BUT the SD83 should show the people how they have made big cuts to their own office and management overhead before asking schools to bleed more! Keep AES as a school, listen to the suggestions and options presented at the AES Town Hall meeting, look outside the specific and self serving Consolidated Report. The Town Hall meetings were a joke; it was a public appeasement gesture made by the SD83 who clearly already has an agenda for Armstrong. The Feb2 meeting was held on short notice, with a start of 5:30pm, the options for Armstrong were discussed first---I suspect to avoid allowing Armstrong parents the time to gather and attend. The content of this meeting should have been what was presented at the Armstrong Town Hall.

Armstrong is affordable for young families and will grow in numbers in the future. AES is an amazing school with a fabulous staff. Please look at what the community wants and not just at what the fast short term solution is. Keep AES open!

I went to this school as a child, it's part of the community of Armstrong. Find somewhere else to cut costs, this school is vital to Armstrong!

rhis school deserves to stay open. It is part of the town and heritage of many people. This school was renovated to accommodate the needs of people with disabilities by adding the elevator. Close the other schools!
