Went to that school when I wad I child , would like my son to go there as well . It is a great school

I moved my family to Armstrong just over a year ago. Part of our decision to move here was Armstrong Elementary. I'm so excited for my children to attend school in such a beautiful historic building. Please do not take that away from us.
That building as a school is an attraction to young families looking to relocate to Armstrong. This is a mistake!

More back peddling due to short sighted city council. Didn't we go through this when Len Wood became a middle school? And someone proposed a 6-12 highschool? Time for new brains in the so called 'think tank'.

AES is a part of Armstrong's legacy. It more then any other school is important to the city's legacy. I beg of the school district to keep this grand institution and treasure open!

This building is a HUGE part of the face, history and character of our community. It has served for almost a century and has become a symbol of pride and community spirit in Armstrong. All my children attended there and we'll as my Grandfather! Please keep it open and save it as a school. Thank you

As a one of the last pieces of heritage left in Armstrong, I think plan will adversely effect the kids, the community and future generations to come. I believe there are many other areas for Govt to save OUR money.
PS. My family as well has had three generations come and go thru those doors...

I attended this school as a kid. What a horrible shame it would be to see it close. Breaks my heart. I say keep it open!

Considering how much money the taxpayers pay every year on beautification. Yet our roads are full of potholes and our schools are closing down?? Shame on us!

Please keep this school it is a wonderful part of Armstrong history Three generations of my family went to school there. My dad graduated from there and my mom taught there!
