SD 83 Has plans to close a school in Armstrong. The choice based on size capacity would be AES! Don't let this happen to our Beautiful community!

We, the people of Armstrong and Spallumcheen DO NOT want any school to close & would continue to look at other areas for cost savings.

AES LOOKS like a SCHOOL, AES FUNCTIONS like a SCHOOL, AES SHOULD REMAIN AS A SCHOOL!

This is a heritage building that I understand has been brought up to code. Note really certain how those funds were justified if the intent was to close the school. The fact that the school is being considered for closure is DISPICABLE!!

This is a cherished building in Armstrong--but not simply because it is historic but because it is where children have gone to learn, where teachers love to be, where creativity blooms, where families come together and it has done so for generations. Please don't let them take this away from us.

This school is a historical cornerstone of the education system in our area and should be respected as such. Decisions to close this school made by people who do not live here should no be accepted as valid.

As a young child I went to AES.The school grounds were magical they fed my imagination, my need to adventure & the hill is unbeatable! The historical building is one of a kind! I also believe the age gap from grade 1 to 9 is far too great if schools were to change in Armstrong.

I am appalled that aes is even being considered to close! It is a successful school at full capacity. The school board needs to really rethink the impact any decision would have on the community. They are not considering the long term outcome!

Armstrong is affordable for young families and will grow in numbers in the future. AES is an amazing school with a fabulous staff. Please look at what the community wants and not just at what the fast short term solution is. Keep AES open!

If you have too much space find a productive use for it. Nursery, Daycare, Senior Centre.
