Keep Wolvershill bridge open: A lifeline for our community!

I’m outraged by this absurd proposal.

This would really help the local community.

The closure of the above mentioned bridge will have a detrimental effect both economically to the businesses located on the Wolvershill Road, but environmentally with vehicles having to travel further to reach a similar destination. Longer journey's = more miles travelled = more fuel usage = extra driving emissions = more traffic = more bottlenecks = vehicle queuing emissions, plus the impact on the road surfaces from the additional traffic plus the time wasted sitting in potential queues.

Closing the bridge would have a dramatically negative effect on traffic emissions and Banwell resident's well-being. It is a significant change to the signed-off plan and should not go ahead.

Closure of bridge would limit access for Mead Fields residents to Banwell healthcare facility and school

Us this a cost cutting excersize ..so they dont have to go to the expense of putting a roundabout in on wolvershill rd joining the new carriageway....

Absolute a Stupid thing to do just to please the developers it makes no transport sense

Closing the bridge will have a significant impact on the environment, as well as having a negative impact on local residents.

Keep the bridge open it will cause so many problems for so many people.

A pointless exercise in diverting more traffic back into Banwell. Keep Wolvesrhill open

It's been chaos on the road trying to get into college in the mornings with the extra traffic with Wolvershill closed

Traffic congestion around A370/Jcn 21 M5 is already bad and complete chaos when an accident occurs. This proposal would only worsen a bad situation.

The bridge is a vital access route.

I can’t see the reasoning for this because I can’t see who or what is going to benefit from this decision. I think it’s needs more thought.

I bet there’s somebody sat behind a desk somewhere patting themselves on the back for this turd of an idea, soon he’ll be taking his head out of his own ass so he can ride his bicycle the 2 miles home, meanwhile il be tearing up the back lanes with all the rest of the rat runners trying to avoid all the traffic caused by idiotic idea to close wolvershill motorway bridge.

Closing this road to traffic would cause unnecessary mayhem!
