Outlying villages such as Webbington Loxton and Christon rely on this route to avoid Banwell and Weston Super Mare and access to the M5 and supermarket shops.Rural travel is bad enough without imposing bus route only journeys that do not serve these villages.

Closing Wwovershill bridge to traffic would make traffic problems in Banwell worse and would undo the good work of the bypass

Another poorly thought out plan from North Somerset council pushing traffic onto already congested routes and making life harder for people

Having the both summer lane and wolves hill road closed for a few weeks caused delays to travelling having to go down the dual carriageway. In effect closing the motorway bridge does the same thing. Puts more pressure on less roads

The council is duty bound to not disadvantage existing residents. Their proposal would do just that.

If this happens Banwell will be cut off from Worle. Not a good idea

Imperative this bridge is kept open - it will affect businesses.

This makes no sense in shutting wolvershill Road to general traffic

Ridiculous proposal & will just cause more issues on other routes, especially when the bypass opens & there's even more traffic on the road to W-s-M

The partial supposedly closure has already caused traffic chaos in and out of weston, especially around the roundabout by Budgens/green pastures vets, how there hasn't been an accident i dont know, traffic then also backs up into weston village

My sister lives in winscombe and I'm in worle so the bridge access is better and easier for us both. Will use more fuel and polute the air if I have to drive further into town to access other roads to her. Plus the cut through roads to court farm isn't great. Leave Bridge open!

Some of this plan isnt being properly considered!! Like tgis! Joke!
Try living here then you’ll see how important this bridge is even when the bypass is built!

my route Worle to Axbridge, to Cheddar or just to Banwell would be a lot further and take me to congested paces, me and many others adding to congestion in the long route!

Many people use this route to commute and the suggested alternative is longer. This would also put pressure on other roads which will be congested with commuters going to the motorway.
