Keep Wolvershill bridge open: A lifeline for our community!

This is a necessity for people living on and roads leading off wolvershill.

Wolvershill Road must NOT be closed to traffic, this is absolutely ridiculous.

I use Riverside twice a day to see to our horse. When Wolvershill is closed temporarily it has been an absolute nightmare with so much extra traffic using this small country road.

This Bridge should be kept open for all and not just a select few.

This bridge is vital for so many people shutting it would mean commuters leaving an hour earlier every morning 300 hours a year per resident getting to work in the morning RIDICULOUS

Please reconsider closing this bridge. It would be a tragic loss to lose the local connection to Banwell, winscombe and west wick including local businesses and schools. This is a delicate decision which needs proper consultation.

Please keep the bridge open. I need this route to get to work, without it I will struggle to drop my children off at school and make it to work on time.

I really can't see any valid (or sensible) reasoning behind the closure of the bridge. The increase in traffic on alternative routes is highly likely to create another Banwell (albeit with fewer local residents). Traffic using Wolvershill Road would still be required to use the bypass to cross Banwell - so why close it?

The A371 and Airport roundabout would not be able to cope with the considerable increase in traffic

Closure will only increase traffic through Riverside, already a rat run.

It's madness to close Wolvershill Road to through traffic. It will just create bottlenecks elsewhere, which is surely what the construction of a by-pass was supposed to avoid. Those of us with mobility issues cannot use a bus, walk or cycle!

Keep the bridge open. Absolutely ridiculous to even consider closing it.

Keep it open and make a footpath so we can walk down to Morrisons as there's no bus

Just a complete ridiculous idea sending traffic out the 1 way talk about making matters worse

Great to have a by-pass, but closing Wolvershill Road creates a huge diversion for local people trying to access rail links, shops and services, which will be even worse at busy times when the A370 is overloaded already.
