Please keep it open! Currently, it’s costing additional money and additional mileage on my car to get to and from work. Imagine the environmental damage.

It’s madness to close an existing route, the more travel options there are the better. The population of motorists is only going to increase!….

It’s absolutely ridiculous to close wolvershill road to cars. The last few weeks of it being shut have cause absolute chaos on the roads and a 5 minute journey has turned into a 35 minute journey. I live on the Mead Fields estate, my registered address is Banwell and you want to completely cut off my access to it?! How does that make any sense!!! How am I supposed to use my town if I can’t get to it!!

The traffic is bad enough getting to banwell while you closed this bridge taking over a hour to do a 3 min journey. Do not close it !

Why add to the already congestion of the traffic flow in and around Banwell, I do not understand the thinking behind thus.

Closing the Wolvershill Road Bridge is not acceptable or at all warranted.

This is a vital route to so many people. Silver Moor Lane would become even more dangerous as its a single carriage Lane as the name suggests. It's bad enough along there already with the new houses from RAF locking site and the new builds actually in Banwell.

Rediculous closing a road that serves so many village people.

I live at Locking. I oppose the closure of Wolvershill Bridge. Since it's closure the amount of traffic has been ridiculous. Taking half hour or more to get home and to work which should only take me 10 minutes. Also when the M5 was closed we couldn't leave our estate because of sheer amount of traffic.
This is not good for the environment as we are all having to make longer journeys.

This shouldn't even be a consideration. I've lived in West Wick almost 15 years, we need that bridge to stay open. We live here, we use it, we need it and we won't be voting again for a council that closes it.

Closing Wolvershill Road to anything but bus or cycle traffic is insane, unless you make provision for crossing the M5 and accessing the A371 either into Weston or out towards the M5.

For the reasons stated in the petition (among others) I think this is an awful idea.
