Currently the roads we have can’t cope with the amount of traffic due to all the new housing. So closing one makes absolutely no sense. We need more roads, hence the idea for the bypass!
Plus I live on the Morrison’s side of the bridge but have a Banwell postal address. This would cut us off along with many others.

I oppose this closure. We use the route regularly to access shopping and Worle Station. Alternative route will be impossible every time there is an issue on the M5, which then backlogs into Weston.

It would be an absolute nightmare and cause further congestion to our local roads

A vital lifeline for communities and businesses especially those that attract trade from the motorway.

The area does not have a reliable frequent bus service.Perhaps that should be addressed before giving priority to a non existent bus route

My address is Banwell but I will be cut off from the village of Banwell if Wolvershill Road is closed and my journey into the village (doctor etc) will be several miles longer.

Divisive and causing chaos on the roads for families and businesses. Another decision made by those detached from the realities going on in NS

This is the only direct route to the motorway and to Worle train station. Also shutting the bridge to traffic only makes the traffic heavier in and out of Weston-super-Mare. The bypass is needed to keep the huge lorries out of Banwell and to ease the flow of traffic through the village but cutting off the use of the bridge is not helping.
