By closing wolvershill will increase traffic on the single track country lanes around the area, which already can’t deal with the volume of traffic.

Needs to stay open or will cause lots of disruption on the roads locally

Closing Wolvershill Road permanently is a terrible decision, it is a lifeline to our local community and beyond

Wovlestill road is a lifeline for my family to get to our gp surgery for medical appointments this would take alot longer to get too via the dual carriage way, especially if it gets blocked and visiting my 92yrs old mum who needs us

This road is vital to maintaining traffic flow throughout the surrounding villages and reducing drive time - the current proposed option adds at least 15 extra mins journey time during peak driving hours

I feel the closure of Wolvershill Road to all traffic will virtually eliminate any benefit to Banwell gained by the bypass.

This is a vital road and needs to be kept open.

What a hair brained idea to close this part of Wolvershill Rd, and I actually live on this road

Closing Wolvershill Road will create more pollution by substantially increasing journey distances.

We fund the council to maintain roads, not to shut them and cause increased congestion and journey times which adds to pollution.

There are businesses along Wolvershill which I use whom would suffer terribly from the bridge being closed.

It will cut the village in half. We want to stay as a village.

During peak times like 8-9am and 4-5pm having this road closed causes an additional 20-30mins time to travel the purple route.

Terrible idea. The flow of traffic from past helicopter museum already causes huge tailbacks all the way down locking road to Nuffield. It will kill off the small businesses in that area, they will have no access to their market - just awful.

This is an essential route to Worle and reduces congestion around the airport roundabout

life line from weston to work in winscombe instead of joining the dual carriageway traffic.

The closure of the bridge is already adding on 30 minutes to my journey to work. This is a ridiculous and unenvironmentally friendly idea. 2 lanes each a mile long of standstill traffic will mean very poor air quality for the local residents along the dual carriageway into Weston super Mare

Weston’s road infrastructure is already overloaded, inadequate and poorly designed, why make it worse. By closing a much needed route of travel. Mead fields is part of Banwell boundaries, why cut it off.

Having previously lived in Summer lane Banwell this would have caused a massive diversion to get to the motorway. An outrageous proposal when you want less emissions etc. No consideration for residents whatsoever.
