It would make the traffic flow much worse - this is demonstrated when the road has been closed recently and the traffic has built up along the dual carriageway from Morrisons to budgens/petrol station. Would make it difficult for local residents and commuters.

We put up with roadworks for months while the link road was built only to find it didn’t link anything thus we need to Keep Wolvershill open!

There are a number of things needed
1.Wolvershill Road bridge MUST be kept open. It would ludicrous to close it.
2. The Through Road from Locking Parklands to join Wolvershill Road needs completing (why has it never been completed?)
3. There needs to be traffic lights on the road out of Elborough with junction of the A371. Getting out from there will be a nightmare once the bypass is completed.

Keep the village roads open for the villagers, the bypass is for other vehicular traffic passing through! Shame on you for even planning this!
