When Wolvershill development is built all traffic will need to go through already busy junctions of A370 and A371 causing issues for all entering Weston from the motorway

I agree it is not going to work closing Wolvershill especially after the chaos we experienced with the recent temporary closure. There needs to be more access routes or we will end up with more traffic jams defeating the object of the bypass.

The amount of additional traffic on other roads are causing long delays that costs our business in time and financially

Closing this road will cause more traffic down certain roads, increasing risk of accidents massively and causing large amounts of disruption.

This is a critical route for residents of Winscombe & Sandford to the motorway and train stations.. the lanes across the flats will be carnage as they have been these past 3 weeks..

Please reconsider, this would be massively inconvenient for all of us that need to travel via the M5 from the villages

Please think again developers and do the sensible thing. Keep the bridge open.

This bridge/route should not have restricted access. With the by-pass now being built , traffic to and from the m5 will use this route more as they dont have to go through Banwell village. All you are doing is pushing traffic onto the small lanes which cannot cope (we have seen that recently with the temporary closure of wolvershill road). . Absolutely Keep the bridge open and if need be have traffic lights on there. Do a survey as to how many vehicles (cars, Lorries, , vans, tractors etc)use this road and you would have no reason to restrict it . It is a very busy and well used road.

The closure of this bridge will isolate residents in Banwell from accessing rail and road links as well as Forcing traffic onto other heavily congested roads.

It is imperative to keep this open for people south of the M5 St George's junction to avoid long journey times to go to this junction and indeed the shopping facilities in Worle near this junction.

This is a vital route for local residents. Closure would mean big detours, more fuel, more stress, much more traffic on the alternative route - exactly what people and the planet don’t need…

Having just closed this road for 4 weeks I hope you will have seen the chaos this caused!

Closing this bridge will lengthen my journey to a place of work.

I use this bridge on a regular basis to take my son to football. Also to visit friends and family and the parish council. If this closes it will ad a lot of miles to my journey and financial stress.

Bus services are inadequate and do not cater for people's working patterns

As a resident of Riverside I can already see the impact of the closure of Wolvershill. Please make a more sensible plan such as a cycle lane and traffic lights or adding the cycle lane on to the existing bridge. Bloor homes told me they will be gifting over a million ££ to nsc for infrastructure, please use that fund sensibly. Riverside is not fit for purpose and should be down graded so that sat navs don’t direct cars down it from M5 as fasted route but rather send them round to the bypass. Please please do not shut this road
