THIS ROUTE IS VITAL TO THE SMOOTH FLOW OF TRAFFIC TO THE M5 jUNCTION !

Working in Bristol and Bath I have recently needed to adjust my commute time due to Wolvershill Road being closed temporarily. In order to be certain to get to Worle station in time for the train this has meant me leaving the house 35 minutes earlier due to the unpredictability of the volume of traffic on the A370. I prefer to take the train for environmental reasons rather than drive. Closing Wolvershill Bridge would definitely have a negative impact on commuters like myself and encourages more people to drive rather than take more sustainable transport options.

My children go to Banwell primary and Churchill school making our daily journey an added 1 hour longer than it needs to be from west wick

Closing this road would cause mass congestion in Weston.

Roads have been terrible with recent closure, longer term plans to close this road negatively impact the local community.

We wait years for them to finally build the Banwell bypass, and then they instantly ruin any benefit with shortsighted closure.

Please keep Wolverhsill Road bridge open over the M5 to all traffic.

It would cut off the residents from the local supermarkets and access to the motorway.

I love in Riverside and the amount of traffic whilst wolvershill was closed was horrific. The roads have subsided where tarmac has given way in to the reen. Rolstone road will become a rat run as it is the quickest journey from the M5 after wolvershill road, into Banwell.

This is a vital connecting road to/from junction 21. Worle train station and that whole area. The current plans would mean longer car journeys and increased congestion for commuters.

This is a true terrible idea, riverside is dangerously over used and the road needs to be totally rebuilt as it is!! We need to have a second WSM M5 junction

This proposal makes no sense and will have a huge impact on the surrounding areas as indeed the temporary road closures have done in recent weeks.

The amount of traffic on the roads from the new estates will not cope with out this route

Nye road would not withstand the extra traffic. The last 3 weeks have proved this when works started on the bypass and woolvershill was closed. Please re consider.

All routes into WSM and onto the Motorway at J21 are already congested at peak times. The combination of removing one of those routes and adding extra housing will cause even more congestion and an increased negative environmental impact.

We need this bridge to be kept open for vehicular traffic - not just buses. Do not close it to us.

More road pollution, traffic build up on existing roads.

Banwellians seem to have been conned.
