Cannot understand why this section would be closed.

This is a terrible idea and will disrupt a lot of businesses along this road

Even just the suggestion of closing this road is madness. Traffic has been so congested and an absolute nightmare for the last 4 weeks. This road is an absolute must for people who live in the community. I live in Banwell, my child needs to access the doctors in Banwell and without this road everything takes 10x longer!!

This road needs to stay open. It has been closed as well as summer lane recently and it’s been a nightmare, the traffic awful but even just the fact of the extra miles for every trip

Totally agree with comments made. With another 3000 houses road network is not sufficient

Access to the motorway needed everyday for work plus to the nearest shopping centre sainsburys/ morrisons etc. Why should we need to to travel further for these amenities? Would you want to do it?

This road is needed for our village. The main road A370 is far too busy at peak times and this closure will just add to that chaos

An increase in mileage is an increase in pollution and frustration.

We need it open or you split the community.

It really makes sense to keep the route out of Banwell using the M5 round about and wolvershill road from the Bypass.

The temporary closure has already proved the need to keep wolvershill open. The que to get onto the runway roundabout during normal days was extensive, add to that problems in the motorway which is a regular occurrence and the whole place comes to a halt.

Why are North Somerset council determined to have the car drivers punished for daring to want to travel in a sensible manner ,such as bus lanes on unused bus routes the list goes on .

It is a really useful road to access the M5 from Banwell. Too close this would mean a long detour
