The additional traffic this will cause and the prolonged journeys due to this closure will be so awful for all commuters

This road relieves congestion on the a370 and this has been proven with the recent 4 week closure of summer lane and wolvershill road.
Closing this road will cause chaos permanently

It’s an essential road for some people who live there

I use this route from Sandford to Worle to get to work each week. If this route is closed I will have to drive miles round in each direction to get there, or be forced to drive down Puxton Moor To get there quicker and shorter

This proposal will be detrimental to my work as a community OT in the area, making my journeys to the worked area much more challenging.

With the cost of living already impacting people under the living wage allowance and the elderly who have already been persecuted for just been maybe 50p over the pensions to then be penalties yet again to have to spend more money on fuel to get home is just bloody disgraceful. I personally have to come home every lunchtime to make sure my senior dog gets a break as I have to work 45 hours a week. I can't afford to pay for someone to come in for her everyday. I get 45 mins to come home get some lunch and rush back to work. This is stressful enough without having to explain to my employers I need to take an extra hour which I'm certain they won't be happy with. I get unemployed and then have to lean on government to keep me. You work out the cost. Not the best idea is it !!

The closing of the bridge to general traffic makes no sense.

This is a ridiculous proposal that will inevitably divert traffic to alternative B roads that are not fit for purpose

The road has to stay open, having recently moved to Mead Fields this will significantly impact my journey time to Banwell to visit family and my work, the recent closure for maintenance work showed how much traffic that was forced to use the A371/A370 backed up, causing huge queues and made that area a hotspot for accidents. The amount I saw there during rush hour increased significantly. The route needs some resurfacing, not to close!!

Would be a disaster if this was closed.

Please don’t close wolvershill. I bought this house only a year ago, and the 20 minute round trip to get to Banwell, instead of 5, will really make me reconsider where I live!

This road must stay open for many reasons

Makes no sense to shut this route, there are rarely any cyclists, buses or rarer still pedestrians who use the route, vital for this to stay open for cars etc.
