Keep Wolvershill bridge open: A lifeline for our community!

An absolutely ridiculous idea . We need this bridge. It’s a life line for those living in banwell.

Creating what seems better roads then filling it with more houses just doesn’t make sense leave the bridge alone

Closing this road will put half an hour per day on my journey to work

This is a busy road used by many people. Be green save extra mileage.

This idea is crazy, rat runs as we call them are being recked. Why shut a busy road and cause more traffic problems

This bridge needs to stay open to to help people who are in their later years to be able to get to the suoer markets or motorway, without adding half an hour to their trip.

The school run has been horrific during the duration of the roadworks, we need the bridge open.

This will cause more harm than good especially to Riverside, Church Street and the ancient parish of St Andrews Church! It’s already happening!!

I don’t understand how you can close the bridge to traffic, the past month whilst the bridge has been shut it has mad the dual carriageway a standstill! Also I live on mead fields and have a banwell postcode, surely you can’t shut off my access to my local village meaning to get to my local amenities I would have to drive through Weston to get there. A shocking decision that needs to be amended.

This is a much needed road

With the extra houses now being proposed and with living off wolvershill road, I strongly agree with this petition

Closing this bridge will impead our family directly, as we use this route to get to my daughter & her young family who all had additional/support needs (sometimes requiring us to get to them as quickly as possible). It makes no sense that houses are being built in the area both sides of the bridge, and in turn important roads connecting communities are under threat of being closed. Closing the bridge (in addition to the reasons already stated) could impact on isolation for some, and for us cause delays to providing much needed support to family members.

Another ridiculous idea about buses in North Somerset. As if all the expensive but pointless bus lanes wasn't enough.

Keep wolvers hill open - when disabled every extra mile of any journey makes life more difficult. Please do not add to this journey an keep it as it is presently.
