Keep Wolvershill bridge open: A lifeline for our community!

The Wolvershill M5 bridge is essential for Wolvershill road residents and I support this petition wholeheartedly.

Keep the bridge open for access to all, especially in case of accidents that could cause massive delays if people cannot find alternative routes to get through banwell. Which we have seen alot these past few weeks when m5 traffic has been diverted

Absolutely ridiculous. So many people use that route from Banwell daily to get to work.

Why?

Need to put other roads in and finish the bypass at least before closing this

Wrong option ,just going to make a traffic problem on other roads worse.

I use this road everyday for work, it's a nightmare going all the way around.

Keep Wolvershill Road open.

Can not believe that this is even a though with the amount of congestion caused recently due to road works. Causing headaches for residents and adding on 40 minutes to some journeys

It’s ridiculous, it is a bridge used, as part of an essential route by thousands.

This has cut off the towns allotments and added 20 minutes to my morning commute before you add thousands more houses in both the Banwell area and in Weston itself. It’s a crazy idea

Closing this road is a very bad idea

The closure of the bridge will cause more pollution and traffic problems by forcing traffic to take a long detour or use the narrow country lanes. As hardly any buses use that route it’s not a viable proposition.

Closing this stretch of road takes away any good that will come of the bypass for those of us living locally.

Another crackpot scheme .

Please keep wolveshill open. If would be mad to put so much presure on the surrounding roads when their is no need to.

Also affects my son who is travelling on a moped to Upper Langford. The other routes / lanes have been impassable lately due to the flooding as the rivers run along those routes . Please keep it open

Closing the bridge is ill-thought out and will cause thousands of people untold problems and delays, including much more congestion.
