I would prefer that WHS remain with Village Sports as our uniform supplier - a very convenient and helpful local supplier. It seems that they were not considered in the retendering for this contract: at the very least, it would be helpful to understand why.

I object to the change as there is not a John Lewis near us and I know from experience how difficult it can be to get the uniform as they often run out of stock

I have always found the service at Village Sports to be exemplary - they know their stock and they sorted out my daughter with her uniform in a fraction of the time it took me at Peter Jones when I had to kit out my son there. Village Sports made the experience the pleasurable rite of passage I hoped for.

Village Sports should be reinstated as the school uniform supplier- they are a local business who have provided a good service (and they will post uniform to you so having "click & collect" is not a sufficent reason for changing supplier).

It is much more convenient having the uniform shop close to school - easy to pop in after the school day if necessary - and as online ordering is already possible via Village Sports, I see very little benefit to parents to switch to John Lewis.

Shopping at Village Sports for my daughters school uniform (aged 4-16), was part of WHS life. It was a pleasure, and allowed us to gain advice re sizing and suitablity. A thoroughly pleasant experience, that certainly would be missed by purchasing on line.

Wimbledon Village Sports have given amazing service throughout the 8 years of my childrens education at WHS so far. I do not need online ordering. Please re-instate Village Sports as the uniform shop. They are local!

The GDST ethos should include loyalty and support towards a local family business.
The understanding of the larger economic picture is useful for our girls but so is the realisation that community matters.

Villaeg SPorts deliver very efficiently and more importantly are close by for sizing issues etc.
