My family has played golf at Winnapaug since the 1940s. After the war my father had a family membership and helped start the first industrial league. I've been playing there for 70 years. This Donald Ross course being gutted would create a loss to one of the greatest designers in the world of golf.

The area of interest is not in the interest of the community

I urge the Planning Board to deny the Winnapaug development proposal. The golf course is an environmental, cultural and economic benefit to the Town. Development in the flood zone is dangerous and unnecessary.

Will be the ruination of our beautiful town

Need to make sure our infrastructure can handle expansion and not endanger coastal areas with reckless overdevelopment.

As a relatively new part time resident, my vision would be on business and refining the existing services to enhance the treasured Westerly experience for all. To add to the population would burden safety and other public services.

I'm not an expert, but 5000 people more in this small town is too much.

Please, Westerly is getting very crowded. We need green as much as possible. Why not fix the sewar systems. We'll be under water in 10 years.
