It is totally inappropriate to disregard and exempt the prevailing zoning on the promise of "affordable" housing. Yes, affordable housing is very much needed. But this project as proposed ignores the prevailing zoning, density and characteristics of the area. Critically, the impacts of the density on the existing infrastructure (traffic & access) utilities) and natural environs are immense!

This is horrendous that Westerly would even entertain this. Thank you for all your doing. Marian Cunningham.

The traffic is impossible, already. Mystic has destroyed its charm by overbuilding. This would be a blot on the scenery, to say the least.

Our town cannot sustain this scale of development or even be sustainable in these times with this much growth on Shore Road. Any responsible person who cares even 1 iota about quality of living and right to quiet and peaceful enjoyment in our exceptionally beautiful and one of a kind small town will oppose such an egregious, irresponsible and entirely detrimental proposal, which will cause irrevocable harm to our community especially and including our natural environment, as well as no way to appease and again sustain the tourism it will garnish by way of hospitality, restaurant chefs and staff, markets, hospitals, infrastructure and police force. Also, golf.

Post road can not support an extra 5000 cars per day, nor can out town support water, waste, electricity for extra home regardless of them being for lower income households

Overdevelopment is NOT in the best interest of our quaint town. Please don’t let this plan move forward.

This “ new” plan is just as bad as previous iterations, and has the potential to completely destroy the character of Westerly, gnarl already terrible summer traffic, and impact thousands of residents and visitors.

As frequent user of this great golf course treasure it would be a shame to destroy this facility not to mention the other detrimental impact to the area.

If this is approved it will negatively impact all Westerly residents, as well as yearly tourists, financially and their daily living.
