This development is too large for this plot and will negatively impact the surrounding area

Shore Road has already become an increasingly dangerous road with daily numerous violations of motor vehicle speed limits. Pedestrians will be in grave danger with the increased volume of traffic created by this proposal.

Why ruin such a beautiful site with yet another unsightly project?

I have been a property owner since 1981 and a full time resident since 1999. There are so many negatives about the enormity of this plan. It just is not the right thing for my planning board to ok this.

Westerlys infrastructure cannot handle this scale of buildings. More data and research is needed to understand impact.

There are many priorities on a governmental agenda. To forsake the environment, the water, the sewer, the green space, the recreation, and other goals for BUT one goal is ludicrous. This proposal is a spite proposal and should be rejected pro forma.

The golf course is imperative to keeping westerlys locals away from the beaches that are plagued by tourists during the summer months.

In the words of Joni Mitchell: They pave paradise and put up a parking lot… What’s next for Shore Road and its surrounds if the developers have their way. I shudder to think.

This application is just a threat ...let's include RIAC and the FAA mandating 7460 permits from developers.

This proposed development will change Westerly dramatically in a negative way for ever.

This is an environmental disaster waiting to happen. The scale is absurd for the location. Plenty of room off 95 in Rhode Island for something this size. For a sense of scale, Ashaway, RI has a population of 1444 (as of 2020). Do we want a development larger than the Village of Ashaway dropped on Shore Road? Totally inappropriate for the location.
