Westerly’s beauty is that it’s a small town and it should remain that way. Crowding 2500 units onto the golf course will create an enormous problem.

74 Crandall and it’ll be way too crowded and congested.

We own a home at 74 Crandall Avenue and strongly oppose this proposal. It is completely out of character with the Town.

I used to live in a town with high density housing, and moved partially for that reason. This will change the entire town of Westerly and not in a good way. I am against it.

This is Failing to protect green space and would permanently alter small coastal space with increased traffic on two lane roads. putting an additional 6,000 drivers in small area.

Where else would the blue state of RI house illeagals. We would need 25% more police to patrol 25% more residents of Westerly. Who pays? Low income illeagals?

It will ruin the entire part of town.
The additional traffic will be horrendous in the summer.
Unscrupulous owners. Very shady history.

Please consider the ramifications on the town of the huge number of dwelling units planned for the property. Are there ground water concerns? Should the development be required to have its own septic system? Should the developers be required to provide an Environmental Impact study?

Protect the POND, too many people and pollution. Sewage, pesticides, runoff are detrimental to the ecosystem. This development is grotesque.

Cons: traffic, environmental impact to surrounding area, elimination of green area, overcrowding of current street confrontation, increased pressure on beach front, obstruction of scenic areas, septic system impacts, pressure on school, fire and police systems.
Pros: none
