It is a disgrace that the town would even consider this proposal. Westerly is a charming town with such beautiful landscapes. The community needs to STAY GREEN!!

Once open space is built on, it is gone! This will change so much of the atmosphere of our lovely town.

STOP the zoning amendment. SAVE the golf course!

This golf course was always meant to be an open course available for all people to enjoy. The open space it provides enhances the area and the neighboring land, especially the open land that my family still hold as such. It should not be destroyed an allowed to be used for unnecessary housing that will no doubt destroy the beauty of the area and the habitat that so many have worked tirelessly to preserve. Please keep the green spaces alive!

The intention of selling this land to the golf course developers was to keep it preserved, not to build it up into housing developments. There are enough of those, but precious few open, green spaces to help preserve the land and wildlife that are a part of the area. KEEP IT GREEN!

Please preserve our open space. There has been enough development in all the years I've been here. The beach area has been overcrowded enough in the summer.

Please don't overbuild Westerly and create traffic and more congestion. I moved here from STamford to get away from that. Stamford is like a mini Manhattan now and ruined.

Misquamicut is over-crowded in the summer with traffic jams that effect the quality of life. This proposal will only exacerbate the problem. Protect the shore and keep Westerly green.

I do not believe changing the ordinance is in the best interest of the residents of Westerly.

Please keep this golf course as is. We do not need more development in Westerly. We need to concentrate efforts into filling all the vacant spaces in town.

I do not support expanded development of golf courses in our town. We need to protect open space for health and safety.

Please preserve this beautiful property as originally designed - as a golf course.

This change would negatively effect the neighbor, raise our taxes, and impact our home values.
