At this point the town should buy the place, works in other towns!

Opposed to this type of reckless development proposal. The continued loss of green space will
ultimately result in a less desirable
living environment for most everyone connected to the town.
Also do not like the idea of pack and stack housing proposed for St. Pius School land and the site of the Campbell Grain Company. The suggestion that this is a boost to local business is lame.

The argument that zoning revisions are necessary to make this golf course "economically sustainable" is an insulting ruse and for the Town to build upon that ruse by adopting the landowner's phony intent is pretty darn annoying. I would have more respect for the landowner if he said I want to maximize profit from this piece of land and the Town will benefit through an increase in tax revenue.

Proposed changes to the Town of Westerly Zoning Ordinance, specifically, the proposed amendments to § 260-73 - Golf Courses should be put before the voters. The changes will impact the entire town.

As a resident and homeowner on Atlantic Ave. We do not want to lose this only public course, green space and worry about traffic, pollution to salt ponds.

I am concerned about the adverse effects this could have on Winnapaug Pond and the surrounding area, as well as what others have mentioned.

It's a nice golf course with a historic past. Don't blow it up for a development.
