Mrs. Townsend was always the teacher I wished I had while at West. However, after spending two weeks with her in Europe, I can't imagine her not being able to do what she loves in the place that she loves. She truly is one of the most down to earth, kind-hearted people I have had the privilege of meeting and has influenced so many to do great things. Bring her back!!

She is without a doubt the best teacher I had at Parkway West. She's honest, loyal, and will call you out if you ever use improper grammar. She's the most genuine person you'll ever meet. Keep her in the classroom!

How many times in your life will you meet a teacher that you genuinely like? As a person, I mean. Mrs Townsend was one of the two teachers throughout my whole 12 years of primary education who actually took the time to teach me what it means to be a truly outstanding person. Though a strict disciplinarian, she was a living embodiment of respect, integrity, and most of all, compassion. I know I can speak for my older brother as well when I say that it was a privilege to have had her as my teacher.

Mrs. Townsend genuinely cares about the students. She not only gives her time in the classroom but goes above and beyond before or after school to help those that need her so they can succeed. She takes time to get to know kids as students and individuals. She teaches and touches lives. She is the kind of teacher that makes West best.

Mrs. Townsend was a great teacher that made everything easier to understand and always kept the class entertained and in a good mood. I absolutely 100% agree with this petition and I hope to see Mrs. Townsend soon!

Mrs Townsend is a valued member of the community of West High. The strength of the school and the high standards that are set for the students is mirrored in Valerie. Too much time is being lost at the expense of those who need her most, the kids. She should be in the classroom.

Val Townsend is one of the good teachers. She needs to be in the classroom. It's a shame when one error in judgement can ruin a stellar career. There doesn't seem to be a middle ground any more. There has to be a better solution than removing her from the classroom.
