I found Vegas Movie studio to be be the best balance between function, ease of use and affordability for what I need. (Ive used Premiere before)

I love Vegas Pro, especially the scripting which really speeds up my workflow. I would hate to have to go Adobe.

Sony, please keep Vegas alive !!! Dont' let such a great NLE die, it would be really a pity. If you don't want to make Vegas evolve, then sell it to a third party developer, or release it as an open source project, but please don't leave it in such a "limbo"...

Vegas Pro has a workflow that is very flexible and intuitive for me. It deserves at least another upgrade to fix GPU and 4k compatibility. Sony don't throw away such a useful video editing and compositing tool.

If you do not manage to make Vegas 14, which says that you will be able to make a new program of so effective assembly than Sony Vegas.
Catalyst Edit is far from winning unanimous support.
If this program is intended to replace Vegas, then I will learn on another program but I will drop the brand

I Vegas Pro 14 will not be released with new features and all fixes, what will the professional users do. Continue as is or move to another program. I may not use this program, but I use Sound Forge Pro 11 audio. Will that have the same future?

Vegas Pro offers a superior super fast workfow compared to othrr NLE's.
A truely professional editor and one of the top editors for years. Sony would be crazy to pull the plug on their huge user base.
