Have been using Vegas Pro since V6 and have bought each new update (even V11). This is the best ProSumer editing software around, with respect to features, capabilities and price. If Sony wants to go with a Pro only editing suite (Catalyst) like Apple, fine, but DON'T kill the product that many people use right now. Continue to support and further develop this product. Not everyone is a commercial video production house that can afford the cost of a multi-thousand dollar editing suite.

Ist the best since AVID Liquid as good or even better as FinalCut Pro
I fell in love with this wonderfull product (and the COW community is great!!!!!

Vegas has been my goto edited since edition 3. I use it for my production business during the evenings, and teach it to over 200 students every year in my Film & Video Class at the high school I teach at. Vegas is needed! Should it not be continued, I will be forced to teach Adobe Premiere starting in August. I am already prepping my students for the worst. Please reconsider this decision of killing Vegas off. And Please no subscriptions either as that will be a deal breaker as well. At that point, I would rather support Adobe.

I used to use this software at a TV Network! It's my all time favorite NLE, and I'd used many including Avid, Adobe, Imovie and more... It's so easy to use...

Been using Vegas since 4.0 and have purchased all updated but 5 and 7. Would be a shame for it to stagnate and die now.
Please do not kill Vegas as its the best!
