The recent decision should be reconsidered for the benefit of children who have already experienced seclusion in many ways due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

First football.....what's next? Baseball? Basketball? Please reinstate the program to its rightful place in youth athletics.

These programs are extremely important to our young athletes. Many cannot afford to pay the astronomical fees charges by the travel or Pop Warner programs. My son got started with rec flag, then carried on to tackle football, and is now playing at a DIII University in College. Give these kids the chance to play!

Let the games be played at PAAC. Don't take this away from the kids after all they have been through.

These are our children’s fields and should be made available to our current & future tax payers of Virginia Beach.

Our kids needs all of the activities they can get after getting through the past 18 months. Do not take away their options!

Unbelievable to me that this opportunity is being taken away from our youth players. Shame on the city!

Please let the kids use the fields. It’s the least you can do after cancelling the sport. My tax dollars went towards that field.

This will be my sons 5th year playing BUCKEYE football. He not only loves the game, loves his teammates, and coaches; He looks forward to playing. The program and the coaches who VOLUNTEER their time have helped my son in school with his grades, his respect for others, how to follow directions, helped with his working out. As a mother I am so grateful for my son to be in this program and I know so many other kids and parents that have been in this program or still are who will agree. For you to take this opportunity away from our youth what kind of message would that send them that. Maybe they will think you don’t value what they are asking for. Again don’t take this away from our youth and allow them the chance to strive for greatness in something they love. They work hard on that field and off that field. Why wouldn’t we work hard to keep youth football. We are the roll models so we have to work hard and find any way we can for them so they can work hard for themselves. Please again reconsider the choice and let’s show our kids that we believe in them and encourage them. Thank you!!!!!

Why get rid of ANY youth sport, in particular, football?! Kids today have had enough taken from them.

Please keep this great program going. It is a an excellent team building and leadership experience run by a top notch coaching staff. My older son benefitted immensely from the experience.
