The human body is not a sterile environment!!! It is important to sell milk that is clean, but when the option given us is milk that has had both good and bad elements in it killed, how does that fit in with our micro biome?
The fact that the test for properly pasteurised milk is the test for the absense of lactoperoxidase fundamentally shows that we are relying on a sterile process that, in the short run, may alleviate health concerns but does not favour the long term probiotics in our bodies.

The rest of Europe can buy raw milk from vending machines, what right have the FSA got to stop it in the UK?

i support unpasteurised milk sales in the uk, for the health benefits and for freedom of choice. As a dairy farmer we often get asked to provide raw milk- it would be great to be able to sell it to third parties too as well as having a vending machine

I think its very important to be able to get hold of milk. I don't want to drink processed engineered milk. Milk is milk, it needn't be called raw or unpasteurised, its just milk and its healthy.
I currently have to visit a farm to buy milk but it would be more convenient to buy locally.

Typical FSA a sledgehammer to crack a nut. Raw milk is a natural product and lots of people need it for medicinal reasons. Raw milk sales could also help small dairies desperate for income to stay in business

We should all have the choice to drink unpasteurised milk. If the production of this milk is strictly regulated as all food and drink should be then I cannot see a problem with allowing us to drink it.

I enjoy the benefits of raw milk,
I am on 1st name terms with
a lot of my producers staff.
I believe in what they do and
their commitment to it, and
whole heartedly support them.

Come on,how can the FSA honestly expect the UK public to REALLY believe that raw milk is any more harmful than many of the highly processed, additive laden,GMO filled, salt filled, trans fatty acid filled garbage that is passed off as "food" by so-called experts?....Its about time you changed your tactics as the agenda is not fooling us anymore.

Having found a source for this whole milk I find that I can digest it, whereas this was not the case with the regular pasteurised milk
