I oppose this sudden change, and the logic within the students regarding their personal education but at the same time, being all together in this, to switch to semesters would not be a good idea and if it's not seen now, it'll be realized because this is taking away from the students.

Anytime a school changes direction like this it is very disruptive to students and devalues their achievements by implying there was some flaw in the education they received.ts

I may have graduated from this school a long time ago but I still hope the best for the school. That is why trimesters need to stay at the high school. I know from experience just how beneficial they are when a student needs the extra time in a subject. Not only would this take choices from students but would make this school less efficient.

keep GC schools the way it is now there is no point plus if we do change most people will drop out and go to a different school or online school

Many that attend are aggravated with the fact semesters may take over trimesters. In my opinion the students should be able to pick what they think is best for them, even after they know the positive and negative sides for both trimesters and semesters. But I believe, since I graduated here through trimesters, I vauled them more due to smaller class sizes, more classes a year and some classes will take a toll being switched to semesters. KEEP TRIMESTERS.

I understand that this is supposed to save money and make some courses easier to teach, but this hurts students who plan their high school years in advance. Adding this to the change from ACT to SAT will hurt student performance, especially the current sophomores' performances when they are juniors.

Semesters will ruin everything about high school. The only reason i ever wanted to go to school were for ROTC and engineering Tech but now youd be cutting those. I speak for all of my fellow ROTC cadets when i say it would be a huge disappointment to see that all crumble. My sister is currently attending school and is the brightest kid I know and she wouldn't be able to take courses she likes like ROTC and art.
