Keep Town & Country within the Dry Creek School Boundary

Disrupting the stability these parents are working so hard to provide for their children is catastrophic. Multiple families and children will be negatively affected by this action. Please reconsider the decision to re-zone the Town & Country neighborhood.

My children have been at dry creek for the past 13 years and we love dry creek. My youngest is in 3 rd grade and I fully expect she will finish her schooling at dry creek. For heavens sake, dry creek is located just around the corner!!! Do not change our boundary line!!!

Stop this in it's tracks. School boundaries changed when I was in elementary. It was a very difficult time for me and a rediculous distance to walk.

Our kids have always gone here. And they want to go to Buchannan. Please don't change which highschool they go to!

We love our Town & Country area friends, and support keeping them at DC!

For some kids, making friends isn't easy. The kids who have already been going to Dry Creek for years have developed close friendships, relationships with teachers, and academic growth/success specifically at Dry Creek. This is unfair to these children. Town and Country children can safely walk to Dry Creek. They cannot walk safely to Century.

All district transfer students need to be removed before we look at changing district boundaries. We have quite a few students at our school who do not live in our area. They should not get a spot in our neighborhood school above the families that have invested in the properties supporting the area.

Please allow neighborhood kids to stay at their neighborhood school!

All children should be kept in their own neighborhoods. For friendships, family values and you pay taxes in that neighborhood!

I am strongly apposed to the idea that since both of my children have already been enrolled at Dry Creek and are familiar with the teachers, staff, campus and of course their friends and classmates, they would be required to move to a new school that they would be completely unfamiliar with. Additionally, Dry Creek has demonstrated higher test scores by their students in both science and math then have the students at the proposed school. Additionally, Dry Creek offers the AR (advanced reader) program that has dramatically increased my son's reading comprehension and interest in reading. The proposed school does not offer AR. What would make perfect sense to me (call me logical?) is that if the proposed boundary becomes a reality, that the currently enrolled students be allowed to stay at Dry Creek and that all new students that are inside the boundary change would have to enroll in the new school. That way, the parents and their students would start at the new school and would be able to develop their friendships, etc., without interruption. My children are performing well at Dry Creek and as a parent I do not want to interrupt that performance. Does this make complete since to you? Thank you for your time and consideration. This is very upsetting for the families that live within the set boundaries now and also within walking distance to the school. Please don`t change them, a lot of families bought their homes in this area so their children could walk to school with their friends in the neighborhood. I also agree, it is very dangerous crossing over Fowler! Please reconsider.

My first DC panther is a sophomore in college and there are 5 more behind her. Including a soon to be 6th grader and kindergartener.

My kids have walked home from Dry Creek to Town & Country. No way they would walk from Century.

this would be so disruptive and unfair to these children. Don't do it.

These arbitrary school boundary changes are extremely disruptive to the children who will be moved away from friends and will certainly cause decline in academic performance for those children at least in the short term.

Please keep our neighborhood in Dry Creek zone.

Changing these boundaries would be devastating to these families. Please reconsider!
