Keep Town & Country within the Dry Creek School Boundary

Why would you redraw to exclude a neighborhood that is right next to the school? Many of the families moved there to be in the Dry Creek school boundaries.

The school district is responsible for a student's safety from the moment they walk out the door to the moment they reenter the house. They are creating a huge liability if they cannot provide a safe way to and from school. As you know, the crossing from Town and Country to Fowler is HORRIBLY dangerous! Also, I just compared the Smarter Balance test scores for the two schools. For Century, 36% of students did not meet the ELA standard compared to 29% at Dry Creek. In math, 40% of students at Century did not meet the standard, compared 37% at Dry Creek. The level of students exceeding the standards is much more pronounced for Dry Creek. For ELA and Math respectively, the exceeding rate at Dry Creek is 36% & 30% while Century's scores are 29% and 24%. A similar fight took place in Sunnyvale and all the parents wore green shirts with logos. They also met ahead of time before they met with the district--btw, they were successful. I hope this helps.

i have two daughters going to dry creek and they would be devastated to leave. They have a lot of friends is deauville which is essentially the same neighborhood that is being split.

We are part of a planned neighborhood and should not be split from our neighbors.

Our family has invested a lot of time and effort to help the Dry Creek Community. We have very strong ties to the school and surrounding neighborhoods.

My children are out of grade school. But it seems silly to have just this little section out of the boundaries when all these kids have neighborhood friends.

We moved to town & country for specificly the reason to keep our kids at Dry Creek! We've been a dry creek family for 7 years with our oldest in buchanan and youngest a first grader at dry creek! Weve bonded with families, teachers and feel that we need to stay at dry creek!

C'mon CUSD... You can do it!

My grandson goes to Dry Creek as his brother did. This is where he needs to be! The teachers are wonderful and this is the only school he has been to! Please leave Town&Country as part of Dry Creek!

I have lived In town and country for 5 years I kept my daughter at her previous school (the school my older kids attended) until this year because their dad passed away and I didn't want too many changes for her. She is in third grade, is starting to make friends and loves Dry Creek. Changing her school again would devastate her. The idea of taking a small neighborhood of 50-60 kids and putting them in a school of 700 where everyone has established friends is disheartening. Please consider other options. This is a tightly bonded community between All neighborhoods.

This will devastate and children. They have built life long friends in these neighborhoods. To displace kids in their final year of elementary school stripping them of their friends, teachers and parents they know and love is damaging to our kids.

Please consider keeping town and country neighborhood within the Dry Creek district. With this scenario of moving the kids to century from here will fracture this community/Deuville neighborhood. These kids will be isolated.
