Dangerous location for a daycare center

This is a RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOOD. A Childcare Center is a FOR PROFIT BUSINESS. It does not belong in a location that has residential zoning. In addition, this is a very dangerous location and there have been numerous car accidents, including with pedestrians. The Daycare Center is planning on locating their outdoor play area on the front yard of the house. This also makes no sense.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to sign this petition to save our beautiful neighborhood. This is insane putting a daycare center in a residential area with no parking and all of the traffic that is going to bring. Thank you again!!!!

this is unsafe. One misstep and a car can easily plow into the front yard. Who will police the “interim” Nature of this daycare? Those applying have time and again attempted to circumvent the rules of the town. Please shut this down once and for all. The location is simply in appropriate for a day care business.

Strongly oppose the day care. Will be disruptive to the neighborhood, and clearly the people who run the daycare do not care about the neighbors.

Intersection is too dangerous for children due to a number of reasons.

I strongly oppose this proposal. There were very compelling arguments made against it at the last town board meeting when the original proposal was considered, as a result of which, the proposal was rejected at that time. I sincerely hope the town board will keep that prior experience in mind when re-considering this updated proposal. Thank you.

I am strongly opposed to the recent application for a daycare center at 32 Harney Road, Scarsdale, New York. It is an unsafe situation for children and a hazard for the pedestrians, parents the area.

I STRONGLY OPPOSE the proposal to operate a childcare facility at 32 Harney Road. It is an ill-considered plan that raises serious concerns about traffic, safety, and the disruption of a quiet residential neighborhood.

This is a very dangerous intersection to create a daycare. The community is outraged at the disregard for child safety as well as the disregard for traffic hazards this creates.

I STRONGLY OPPOSE the proposal to operate a childcare facility at 32 Harney Road. This location is entirely unsuitable due to serious safety, traffic, and zoning concerns, and the plan shows a blatant disregard for the well-being of both children and the surrounding community.

It's a busy area with limited parking.Not to mention school bus pick up areas.

A totally unacceptable proposal. This corner property is not conducive for a Day Care program for several reasons. Safety, traffic, parking, residential, etc.

This reckless proposal was already presented, at least, twice before and was met each time with overwhelming opposition due, in part, to the inherently dangerous location, facing a notorious intersection that poses significant issues of public safety. This, the applicant's 3rd bite at the apple, is even more reckless as it proposes an outdoor play area for toddlers and children adjacent to the aforementioned dangerous Harney Road intersection. The town should have denied outright this reckless proposal from the get-go and should deny it now without further delay.
