Let the older dogs stay and live out their lives where they are. Keep them all but when they die they can’t be replaced with another dog.

Dogs are fur babies and much loved members of a family, to separate would be an act of cruelness to the animals and family everyone would be effected. I would put this as pick one of your kids to give away you would not do it. I have met this family and much loved dogs they are very well looked after and there is no need to remove 2 dogs. This needs to be reconsidered and compassion shown

Who ever has made this decision must have a sad life ! How can tell a family you need to get rid of two of their family members. How would you feel if you were told to rid two of your family members, oooh that's right obviously you wouldn't have a care factor as your making this poor family make that decision. Get a life and focus on the more important things in your municipal.

How ridiculous. If these pets have lived trouble free in this Shire for years then it shows that the petty bureaucracy is wrong and needs changing.
So incredibly wrong on so many levels to insist that elderly dogs be re-homed. Where is common sense and compassion in this world now.
