I used to do Atelia and Bruce’s tax. A couple of years ago I saw Atelia walking a couple of them outside my sons daycare she also has a pram with her. I spoke to her briefly and noticed a dog in the pram because she didn’t want him or he to miss out. The others were at home and she was going to walk them next. There is no reason for Hume to do this. Those dogs are extremely will cared for ... probably much better than some of the children in the area.

This story really saddens me how can you take 2 dogs away from there family for no good reason I really hope the family get the best outcome and the council do the right thing.

Dogs become a valued part of the family and you cannot year apart a family!! Humans and dogs are pack animals this will be detrimental to the dog and families well being - have a heart

That's ridiculous to tear dogs away from there family who have been there for years and well looked after. What about focus on the ones that ain't looking after the pets properly or even abusing animals. You have let this family own these dogs for years now you want to separate them you know how emotionally stress you are going to put on the dog and well as family. That's not necessary. Keep them together

The trauma that would be caused to these dogs and their owners by separating them is cruel, inhuman & heartless. Surely we haven’t lost all our humanity & compassion. Please show that you have a heart & grant the permits.

This is disgraceful. Is our council so stupid they can’t see this is an isolated case. These dogs are not dangerous they are teddy bears & deserve a fair review of their situation. !! You cannot just state a rule & not be prepared to make exemptions where warranted. I hope you get a fair decision.
