How about the council member decided which 2 ‘children’ to give away from their family. How about concentrating on ‘important’ community matters, rather than distressing both the family & the beautiful ‘fur’ babies.

Hume city council do u not have anything better to do? How about actually doing something the serves the community try focusing on illegal parking in residential streets instead of changing ur mind on a matter thats neva been an issue in the past! The dogs werent in danger until now!!! Pathetic!!!

How can you be so unkind to a family & cruel to these beautiful family pets whom bring so much joy to many ppl besides the family , to even think at this stage of their lives to tear them apart is unthinkable , what it will do to the family let alone the poor dogs is unfathomable . They will fret & die being torn apart from the only family they have ever known . Have a heart please for all concerned . You have allowed permits / registration every year what's so different about this coming yr ! Please don't be so heartless

Hume Council - stop enforcing rules from a book carte blanche and look at the real situation. Cared for, loved, part-of-the-family, animals that make a difference in these people's lives. Have a heart. Make an exception. Make a sound judgement, based on facts and the actual situation, not from a rule book. I hope you revisit your decision.

They are clearly all wed fed and cared for and unique. If they have been allowed to have these animals in the past - how can you just decide to have two animals be taken away and why the elderly ones? How cruel and damaging to the dogs health to be ripped away from their family for no good reason, awful for family they live with and are clearly looked after and just a ridiculous decision that needs to be re addressed.. How about we do that with your 10 year old children or family members to the person who decided this and see how you feel and realise how unfair this is :-(

If this hasn’t been an issue for 10 years, why is it now.. the dogs life span isn’t that much longer than 10 years; just let them stay
