Please allow this family to keep all their beautiful Samoyeds together on their property. They are well cared for and obviously a giving part of the community.

Council should worry about the dogs not being looked after.

I can appreciate not letting them get more dogs or replacing dogs when they pass it if you have let them have it previously how can you be so unkind now. Rehiring adult dogs is hard and very stressful on the animals.

I understand the councils position on property vs community vs pets, however this is a too heartless. The owner has lived in the area for a long time and had no issues with the council regarding her pets, which is family to her. Now you want to kick out her family. Not fair. I can understand preventing her getting any further members, however she should be allowed to keep her family as is until they do pass. Revoke your stupidity please, or at the very least allow the rule to not include existing pets.

This is cruel they are older dogs let them live the last part of their life happy.

This is an awful situation where this family has been allowed to keep their dogs together for years and years and only now the council had decided that they hold issue with this family having this many dogs. It's disgusting. You can't rip apart an established pack

Would you ask a large intergenerational family to get rid of the grandparents. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour. Samoyed dogs are herd animals and they respect and need all of their family together.

Leave the Family alone, they are much loved in the community, there are more important issues of animal manigment within the Hume Area...

Disgraceful behaviour by a council

Very saddened to hear what Hume Council is doing. This is so wrong on so many levels. My old girl would have been shattered if this had happened to her. Come on council where is your compassion.
