This is just utterly ridiculous and not fair at all. The council are just bullies and should focus on actual issues in the community instead of ripping families fur babies apart!! Disgraceful!!

Why now after all these years are the family expected to give up their beloved family members! Council have obviously been happy to take their money and give them permits ... so WHY!!!!

It is not reasonable or logical to refuse to allow these people to renew their pet registration when they have been able to for the last 10 years. These are living creatures and unnecessarily removing them from their family would be devastating for them.

I am Bruce and Atelia's next door neighbour. I have no issue with the dogs and they are very quiet. I never hear them as they are well cared for and looked after. Council have not spoken to me once for my opinion and I think that that is disgraceful on their behalf. Have a heart Hume.

Kindhearted family looking after the two extra elderly dogs with medical conditions is more than what most people would do. They’re a gorgeous and friendly breed, too. What would Council do with them? Have them put down because nobody would want the extra vet bills? Please let them stay and be treated with love and care.
