I HAVE BEEN SPENDING EVERY WAKING MOMENT EMAILING THE COUNCIL MEMBERS TO DEMAND THEY RECOGNIZE THE HISTORIC VALUE OF OUR YELLOW HOUSE!! THE SILENCE FROM THEIR OFFICES IS LOUD BUT WE ARE NOT GOING ANYWHERE UNTIL THIS LANDMARK IS FULLY PROTECTED!!

I love the yellow house. I think it's a landmark and visitors on the cruise ships will love it too.
There are houses on the esplanade than need painted. They make the place look bad. But when someone maintains there property its not good enough. Council should make people maintain and paint there properties.
Their home, THEIR choice!? With all the other problems in the area the council should be focusing their efforts elsewhere, the couloir of a privately owned home is not a public issue and shouldn't be anyone else' concern but the home owner, unless causing risk to the public which a lick of paint obviously does not!
The owners should have the right to paint the colour they want theyre not changing the actual building only the colour!!the council wouldnt be sayiin this if it was painted magnolia would they??the folk that own it are doing the right thing an standing up for theyre rights!!No bullys allowed here an will bot be victimised by anyone never mind a governoring body!!
Inverclyde needs more colour-look at Tobermory whose coloured buildings are a tourist attraction. Let the yellow house stay yellow.
why should other people choose what you do with your own belongings?
