The bookstore needs to be re-thought and associated with the WB cafes.

Please keep it open. I have taken so many teenagers and young people there who learn not only about the World Bank, but also about a part of the world that they often don't know much about.

The saddest day in history is when you shut down a bookstore to create offices. It's like killing education for some other stuff. The reasoning to close is mind boggling. No other bookstore in DC has a wealth of information to Bank staff and others especially clients who visit DC.

I have been going to the Infoshop ever since my college days in the early 1990s. They have many little-known books on history and foreign relations, and you can't help but pick up some discovery from the bargain bin. It would be a shame to see this go!

Not only is the InfoShop a landmark institution in DC, but for the Bank it is a beacon of enlightenment and haven for the weary in an environment that is increasingly sterile intellectually.

The Info Shop has been a very important tool for staff and clients of the world Bank as for the academic community as a whole. Its closing has no apparent benefits and it would reduce the ability of the general public to browse and aquire development and work bank publications. Please keep it open!

The Infoshop is an important part of community outreach and awareness building of the World Bank's efforts. Closing it seems very short sighted, especially at a time when the Bank is struggling to realign itself to remain relevant.

If the World Bank cannot keep a bookstore open, who can? I believe it can and that it will. It certainly should.

the closure of the World Bank bookstore is truly saddening and a loss to intellects. The store is truly unique and should be preserved. If operating costs are the concern, the physical bookstore should have a robust online community available to the private sector, government, and academia. Please reevaluate your decision given that your store is a true Washington landmark.
