This is a unique place which promotes the work of the Bank to the public to all DC tourists. Instead of closing it, make it more appealing with a nice coffee shop for Bank staff and tourists where people can meet or browse through books like in other modern bookstores. Please do not close the bookstore!

There are so many hidden benefits to having a storefront that I truly believe it is in World Bank's best interest to remain in a physical location. Please reconsider!

The Vice President of the unit under which the InfoShop falls, faced with a budget shortfall, abolished the entire publishing and knowledge department, saying it wasn't part of the new communication strategy.

We need to stay connected to people in DC and visitors to the WBG. Rather than shutting it down, suggest you expand the store's offerings, add a coffee space and invest more in using this as a launch pad for deeper community connections.

Nothing can replace the feel and smell of books! Such an influential institution needs a safe space where people can still interact with books this way. Also, seeing so many books on a shelf gives people ideas about ideas, what they need to know more about, what different perspectives there are about the same topics, etc.

This bookstore is an important resource for the WB and for the community and provides valuable outreach. It seems a shame to close yet another bookshop, especially one that is financially viable.
