Closing the Infoshop is a crime. Not only is the ONLY open contact with the public but is also one of the best book stores in DC. Closing so that we can create offices and/or because is of high value is greedy and goes against the World Bank mandate. Moreover the staff that works there is extremely knowledgeable and passionate. We keep around low performing individuals. Get rid of those and keep the store open. I think this would be a fair trade

Stop taking steps to make the world a little more ignorant piece by piece. The WB should do everything it can to encourage research and ideas to flow. Keep the InfoShop open, please.

InforShop opens a door between the WBG and the public. There is no price tag for its value!

Closure would be criminal - when do we get Bank management that kicks ass, has the guts to slash the DC bureaucracy, and leave all and everybody that does a good job alone?

I would like to add my name to the list of Bank staff requesting the bookstore remain open. It is an important conduit to the external world and helps position the Bank as a knowledge hub and vital source of information.

It is a very cute and unique little book shop. Such book shops can rarely be found in DC area. I love getting books by our WB colleagues or local authors there and giving them away as gifts. Please keep it!!

Closing the InfoShop has no good rationale. This is a foolish decision - it is the window onto the development world and many constituencies value it.

This is a very handy and unique little shop, let's keep it open. We don't need another drycleaner or liqueur shop.

Please keep the InfoShop, our only bookstore, open. The InfoShop should even be extended! as it is the best place to serve, not only for WB Staff, but also for public, to know what WB does, what its missions and also for knowledge sharing.

The InfoShop is a perfect mean for the Bank's PR, which is extremely needed. Closing InfoShop is closing the Bank's door to the general public's interests and needs on the Bank's work. It would be a shame if it's closed.
