It's a landmark bookstore that is important not only for WBG, but for society as a whole.

Please do not close this bookstore. I cannot begin to tell you how many books written by authors from all over the world that I have found there and enjoyed.

This bookstore is an excellent resource for serious development-oriented reading, and I am a frequent buyer. It would be a pity to see this, one of the best book stores in DC, go away.

There is no other single place with the kind of books we get at the InfoShop. Please do not close it as it is a big, unparalleled resource.
Thanks,
Abhishek

This bookstore is where my daughter first learned of Malala - and has since read her book and become inspired by her story. Books are critical for learning and sharing information.

How can a knowledge institution like the WBG do without an Infoshop?

Whenever I am in DC, I buy books, maps, WBG items from the shop. Since it is making full cost recovery, I hope this can be reconsidered

Printed books still prevail, and InfoShop is a major development bookstore, especially for those who work and visit the WBG HQ. Please keep InfoShop! Thank you.

I loved it and it was my must place to visit when I was in DC. We had a very nicely established communication with the Infoshop staff and were buying or ordering books directly for the country office. I am responsible for the communications issues in the office and I would like Infoshop to stay as my regular partner.

This shop has been a one stop shop for bank publication. The reasons for its closure is lame. The bank is suppose to be a knowledge bank and this act transgresses it.
